| Mongena is an ideally situated conference and teambuilding venue in close proximity to the major centres; a 30-minute drive from Pretoria, and a 1 hour drive from Sandton, Johannesburg. It boasts a modern up-market, air-conditioned conference room with state-of-the-art conference tables featuring power sockets for laptops, a high resolution (2000 lumens) data projector and Bose surround sound equipment. A stand-by generator ensures continuity of the conference proceedings.
The conference centre can accommodate up to 60 delegates. Boma braais at the newly built facility on the shores of the dam and bush braais (barbeques) can be arranged by special request for larger groups.
Rates are R330 per person per day including arrival coffee/tea (if applicable) 2 x tea/coffee breaks with snacks, a three course lunch and use of conference centre with state of the art data/video projector, sound system and all other standard conference equipment such as flipcharts, whiteboards, stationery and bottled water.
Preferential accommodation rates are applicable in excess of 15 rooms booked. The lodge can accommodate 71 delegates in shared accommodation (within the 28 rooms).
The rolling lawns and accompanying swimming pool near the conference centre of the lodge lend themselves perfectly to teambuilding activities. A beach volleyball court is currently under construction.
